How to Hire

Registered Companies

Registered companies must be able to supply at least 2 contact names and telephone numbers of two different companies who can confirm their trading status and payment history.

Confirmation of adequate insurance cover must also be provided prior to hire commencement; a faxed or emailed purchase order must also be supplied. First hires are always on a payment on collection basis.

Private Customers/Freelancers

We are able to hire professional equipment to independent productions, freelancers and private customers and students; subject to certain criteria:

  • Payment on collection for the hire; credit cards will be charged at 2% on top of the total hire cost.
  • Proof of Insurance before the equipment is collected.
  • 2 forms of photo Identification; passport and drivers license for example, students must also provide college/university ID.
  • Proof of Address, a utility bill for example, for private customers/freelancers the address must match the address on the insurance.
  • Students must provide a letter from the college/university which must be on headed paper from their tutor to verify that they are a student at that college/university.

Equipment must be collected by the hirer, deliveries are not possible to private clients/student/freelancers and independent productions unless you have hired from us a few times.

We do not provide insurance and it is company policy that all equipment must be covered with insurance and the policy must stipulate loss of hire charges or continuing hire charges. We do not accept deposits to cover the value of equipment in place of insurance.

All credit card payments are subject to 2% charges on top of the total.
